It offers high speed, comfort, and energy efficiency. However, it's important to do thorough research and consider all the factors before making a decision.
The loco and cars all have a tan almost orange window trim. These are the hinge roofs. The loco has the original wheels, and they are in excellent original condition, no signs of fatigue and they turn freely.
The observation car does not have a hand brake control arm. You can almost detect a clear gloss that was applied by Ives over the rubber stamped areas.
He could have simply reversed the motor or frame to accomplish the same thing without filing a small piece out of the frame, see last pic. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of the , and ask any questions that I may not have noted in the written. This is the type ii version of the 3235R from greenbelt to Ives vol i, with the cast iron frame, hand reverse motor and octagonal headlight without 3235 stamped on it.
Via priority. See my other offers and save on combined shipping where possible. The loco has brass plates.
The cars have flat sides with gild rubber stamped lettering, but the 171 Pullman has indentations for the brass number plates but it is rubber stamped without the plates. Condition c 6 for the cab and c 5 for the roof a nice little electric in decent shape. The frame has been cut by the reverse lever by an un knowing former owner.
The cars all would rate c 6 for the bodies and c 5/6 for the roofs.
