These units come highly recommended for use in dcc, Motorola, etc, digital or analog mode. I have decided to wire my Marlin locomotives run with a dc transformer so do not need decoders for reversing in analog mode. It can also be used with existing field coil Marlin motors W/O putting in permanent magnet and 5 pole conversion motor kit.

Evidently they are ever bit as good ESI copilot iv decoders and even more flexible for use in analog mode.
