Seems very well built, sturdy. Shipped via economy shipping. This transformer only has two terminals that go to the train track. The throttle dial works as it should with the voltage going higher you increase speed.

I don't know. The 3 prong grounded plug and thick wire are in good shape. It does not have a set of terminals for accessories only. Nice K-line powerful transformer for O gauge trains.

I don't have a locomotive with built in whistle so the feature is untested. The whistle feature may only work on a K-line locomotive as opposed to Lionel loco. The direction button works properly. The transformer looks new, no marks, scratches, signs of wear etc, but the box shows wear/marks from storage.
