This engine was made by Williams in 1973 as seen on the display track included with the item. I will not guarantee electric or battery op toys as most seem to run only when they feel like it.

It has been in my possession for 25 or so years and has never been run, only displayed. Thanks and good luck buying. A great item and is quite large at nearly 18 inches long and weighs in excess of 10 and one half pounds. This is a Williams rendition of a 1928 to 1930 Lionel standard gauge 381E electric locomotive.

I would rate it as a c8 or better.

The engine is in excellent, hardly played with condition,as seen in the photos it is untested, as I don't have a transformer large enough to test it.
